How does Tooth Whitening at Beautiful Smiles Work?

At Beautiful Smiles Ontario, we offer an effective take-home teeth whitening system tailored just for you.

During your initial visit, we’ll take impressions of your upper and lower teeth to create a custom-fitted whitening tray designed to hold the whitening solution securely against your teeth.

At home, you’ll use the custom trays and whitening gel for 30 minutes a day, carefully wiping away any excess gel from your gums to prevent irritation. Some patients may experience temporary tooth sensitivity, so we recommend brushing with Sensodyne toothpaste for two weeks before starting the treatment and pausing
a couple of days before beginning the whitening process. This approach helps ensure a
comfortable and effective whitening experience.

How Long Until I Receive My Desired Smile?

Teeth whitening results vary from person to person, with some teeth whitening faster or more evenly than others. For the best possible outcome, we recommend avoiding tooth-staining foods and drinks like coffee, tea, red wine, and certain fruits during and after your whitening treatment. Our whitening process uses oxidation, which lifts stains from deep within the tooth, but you’ll see even better results by steering clear of stain-causing products.
